Lindsay Elizabeth Agnew (born March 31, 1995 in Kingston , Ontario ) is a Canadian soccer player who has been playing for Sydney FC in the Australian W-League since 2020 .

Career

society

While studying at Ohio State University , Agnew played for the Ohio State Buckeyes university team from 2013 to 2016 . In January 2017, she was signed in the second round of the Washington Spirit franchise in the second round of the NWSL's college draft . In Washington, she came to eight appearances in her first professional season, and for the 2018 season she moved to league rivals Houston Dash .

National team

With the U-17 national team of Canada, Agnew took part in the U-17 World Cup in 2012 in Azerbaijan . There Canada was eliminated in the quarterfinals against the selection of North Korea. At the U-20 World Cup in 2012 , she was only used once. On March 6, 2017, Agnew made his debut as part of the Algarve Cup in the Canadian senior team . On May 25, 2019, she was nominated for the 2019 Women's World Cup , but was not used there.
