The Lindsay River is a river in the northwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .

geography

River course

The river has its source on the northern slopes of Mount Holloway in the Arthur Pieman Conservation Area . From there it flows north and forms the Frankland River about four kilometers east of the settlement of Balfour , on the eastern edge of the reserve, together with the Horton River .
