history

Linzenich-Lövenich has been a rural community in the Euskirchen district since the 19th century ; initially as part of the mayor's office in Enzen and after the Second World War as part of the Amt of Satzvey-Wachendorf-Enzen. On July 1, 1969, the municipality was incorporated into the city of Zülpich by the law on the reorganization of the district of Euskirchen .
