Lipsdorf is a desert in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

Geographical location

The Lipsdorf desert is located on the south bank of the Süßen See , about 1.3 kilometers west of Aseleben and 0.5 kilometers north of the federal highway 80 .

history

In the register of the tithe of the Hersfeld monastery, which was created between 881 and 899, Lipsdorf is named under the name "Leobedigasdorpf" as a place subject to tithing in the Gau Friesenfeld .
