Lisa Hannigan
Lisa Hannigan (born February 12, 1981 ) is an Irish musician.
biography
Hannigan was the companion of her compatriot Damien Rice for many years and was the female voice in Rice's music from debut album O (2002) to album 9 (2006).
After the separation on March 26, 2007, Hannigan went into business for herself and worked on her own songs, which she published on MySpace , and on her debut album. The following year, she went on tour in Canada, supporting Jason Mraz , before releasing her debut album Sea Sew in her home country in September 2008 . It hit the top 3 in the Irish charts straight away and went platinum . The following year the album was also released in Great Britain and the United States and was also able to place in the charts there.
For the animated film Die Melodie des Meeres (Song of the Sea) she played the role of Bronach. She also speaks the character Blue Diamond in the cartoon series Steven Universe .
