Lisa Wild (born May 12, 1995 ) is an Austrian vaulting artist . She was the first female vaulting athlete to jump a somersault on a horse in an international competition .

Lisa Wild took part in the first world championships in double vaulting (pas de deux) at the age of 14 . In preparation for the 2012 World Championships, Wild trained at the Cirque du Soleil circus school . She showed the backflip perfected here for the first time in a test in the first freestyle of the 2012 World Championships, and her performance brought her second place in the intermediate ranking. In the second freestyle, however, the somersault failed, Lisa Wild fell and broke the head of the tibia.

Due to the injury, she was only able to return to the sport in autumn 2013. At the beginning of the indoor season 2014/2015 she won two World Cup stages in the women's individual vaulting, and in February 2015 she finally won the World Cup final on the back of her successful horse Robin . Graduation in the cooperation of Lisa Wild with Robin and her longtime lunge guide Nina Rossin from UVT Salzburg - Wals - Schullergut was third place at the European Championships 2015 in Aachen.

With the 2016 season, Lisa Wild shifted her athletic focus to group vaulting, she is now a member of training group 1 of the Union Vaulting Group Wildegg (URC Wildegg). The group won the bronze medal with her at the 2016 European Championships.
