Lisi Harrison

Lisi Harrison (born July 29, 1975 in Toronto , Canada ) is a Canadian author of books for young people .

Life

Lisi Harrison grew up with her parents Ken and Shaila Gottlieb and a brother and sister in Toronto. She dedicated her first book from the Clique series to them.

After graduating from high school, she enrolled at McGill University in film studies, but dropped out after two years. She moved to Emerson College in Boston . There she did her bachelor's degree in art history ( creative writing ). She worked at MTV for 12 years . She created and developed shows such as One Bad Trip and Room Raiders, and also wrote columns for various magazines. She was voted the most beautiful person in New York by a trend magazine.

Lisi Harrison started writing The Glam Clique while she was still at MTV. In June 2004 she decided to concentrate fully on writing and has published nine volumes of this series so far. In 2008 her book Die Glamor-Clique - Cinderella's Revenge was filmed.

She currently lives in New York City . In 2010/2011 she wrote the Monster High books.
