Room Raiders (. English, meaning: room through Stöberer ) is a reality television -Show on MTV , which is based on a similar idea as Dismissed .

In each episode, the rooms of three young people, most of whom still live with their parents, are inspected by a fourth young person of the opposite sex or, occasionally, of the same sex. This fourth person has the task of choosing the most likeable from the first three people based on the furnishings of the respective room in order to go on a date with her.

The actions of the inspecting person are observed and commented on by the other three in a minibus. At the end they are allowed to take a close look at their rooms (as an act of "revenge"). Meanwhile the inspecting person comes in and announces what they disliked and liked most about which room and names the room and thus the person of their choice. Only then does it become clear to her which room belongs to which person.

For the broadcast, the most important scenes are cut together, supplemented by computer animations of the objects and situations mentioned (green wire model ) and highlighted with current music titles.

The age of the participants is between 17 and 23 years.

To date, MTV has produced eight seasons of the television show.

Since the third season, some extraordinary episodes with twins and celebrities have been produced.
