The list of abbesses of Sonnefeld presents the sequence of abbesses of the Sonnefeld monastery .

The monastery of Cistercian nuns in Sonnenfeld was in 1260 by Henry II. Of Sonneberg founded and his wife Kunigunde. Most of the abbesses came from well-known local noble families. The monastery was dissolved as a result of the Reformation .
