Premonstratensian monastery (ruin) | Gramzow is the oldest documented place in the Uckermark. The Premonstratensian monastery was founded in 1178 by Duke Bogislaw of Pomerania. A stone church was built with the monastery in 1235. From 1355 to 1365 it was converted into a three-aisled brick church with a transept and ambulatory choir. In 1536 the monastery was dissolved. | |
