General
In the area of the municipality of Hademstorf there are barrows from the Bronze Age and settlement finds from the Iron Age. In 1858 there were 16 house stations, a school and a post office. From 1911 there was a stop on the Hamburg - Hanover railway line. Today around 800 people live here.
