Bansee nature reserve northeast of the village.

Hademstorf lies between Walsrode and Hanover east of the Aller . North-east of Hademstorf, on the edge of the Hademstorfer Forest with predominantly pine trees on sandy soil, lies the Bansee nature reserve . Aller and Leine as well as parts of their lowlands are part of the nature reserve Aller-Leinetal . In Hademstorf, peat used to be extracted.

The honorary mayor Ulrike Wiechmann-Wrede was elected on September 9, 2001.

Economy and Infrastructure

The federal highway 7 is east of the community. The next junction is in Buchholz (Aller) approx. 8 km away.
Hademstorf is on the Heidebahn . Since 2010 no trains stop at the station.

An event hall, built between 1985 and 1986, for up to 300 people, named after the former mayor Eberhard Schwarz, is available to the residents as an event space for village community activities.

The municipality is responsible for the kindergarten . 25 places are offered. There used to be its own elementary school in Hademstorf.

The cemetery is on the northern outskirts of Hademstorf in a small forest. It was laid out in 1965 and has 586 grave sites.
