church | The town church, built in the 14th century, was subsequently changed and redesigned many times. The Marienkirche with a three-sided east end has a simple west gable, which was designed as a blind gable. The outer buttresses with the pointed arched windows between them characterize the appearance and support the earlier Gothic vaults. Today the church has a gable roof and inside a grooved flat ceiling. |
