( location ) 		Boat lift The ship lift went into operation in 1934, making it the oldest still working ship lift in Germany. It is located on the Oder-Havel Canal near Niederfinow in Brandenburg. On the northern edge of the Eberswalde glacial valley, the technical structure overcomes a height difference of 36 meters.

( location ) 		Lock stairs From 1912 (from 1934 together with the Niederfinow ship lift) to 1972, the Niederfinow lock staircase in the north of the Barnim district in Brandenburg formed the eastern end of the apex support, which covered most of the Oder-Havel Canal, a section of the Havel-Oder waterway, matters. The western end is the Lehnitz lock near Oranienburg.
