( Location ) Grimnitz castle ruins, on the hill at the Grimnitzsee The Grimnitz castle ruins were a Romanesque border castle between the Ascanians and the Uckermark. The castle was probably built in the 13th century on the Grimnitzsee . Today a cellar vault, surrounding wall foundations and outdoor facilities are still preserved from the castle.
