List of Bergedorf mayors
The municipal administration of Bergedorf (the council ) probably consisted of two mayors and two councilors since the award of the town charter in 1275 and its confirmation in 1305. Since 1814 only one mayor and two councilmen have been appointed.
From 1420 the city of Bergedorf belonged to the “ two-city ” office of Bergedorf , from 1868 to the Landherrschaft Bergedorf and in 1938 it was incorporated into Hamburg .
