List of honorary citizens of Coburg
The city of Coburg has granted honorary citizenship to 26 people since 1851 , which has existed in Coburg since 1845.
In addition, between 1932 and 1939 Adolf Hitler , Franz Ritter von Epp , Carl Eduard von Sachsen-Coburg and Gotha and Franz Schwede were made honorary citizens. These honors were revoked in February 1946 by a unanimous decision of the Coburg City Council.
