Wilhelm Albert Ernst Bernhard Hermann Rose (born June 2, 1819 in Saalfeld , † March 4, 1886 in Coburg ) was a German Privy Councilor of State , Member of Parliament and Ministerial Councilor .

Life

Hermann Rose was a son of the Ministerialrat Wilhelm Gotthelf Rose (1772-1829) and Caroline Schmuzer, a daughter of the Coburg commissioner Johann Georg Schmuzer. He was a farmer from 1836 to 1839 and then studied camera studies for the third semester in Jena . Later he was appointed to the government council in the ducal state government in Coburg.

In 1861, Hermann Rose gave a lecture to Duke Ernst II on the construction project for the Callenberg Farm , in which Rose was involved until completion.

Hermann Rose was first married to Thekla Ludloff (1826-1849), who died giving birth to their son. His son was only five years old. His second marriage was to Caroline Geiß (1815–1882) and they had two daughters together. His wife was socially committed to poor relief and in a women's association.
