List of airlines in Gambia

This is a list of the airlines in the West African state of Gambia .

Operationally active as airline is next to the Mahfooz Aviation the Slok Air Gambia , who are accused of but (2008) financial difficulties, according to press reports. The Gambia International Airlines exists as a company yet, but performs only the passenger and cargo handled at the airport Banjul International Airport by and currently does not maintain active flight service. Some sources still name Mahfooz flights with Boeing 727s between Banjul and Bissau. On April 27, 2012, the German airline Germania announced through its subsidiary Germania Express that it would set up a scheduled airline with the name Gambia Bird from summer 2012 on behalf of the Gambian government. With an Airbus A319 destinations in Africa, Spain and Great Britain are to be flown to.
