generic names . The associated scientific names are also given.
The list is based on the
standard list of fern and flowering plants in Germany . This represents a widely accepted reference for the unambiguous and scientifically proven naming of plant species (species) and other levels of the
plant kingdom in the branch vascular plants (
Angiospermae ,
Gymnospermae ,
Pteridophyta ). The scientific names are standardized in
binary nomenclature . German names are also given for the
plant species , which are listed here for reference purposes.
The list is an extract from the database of the
Federal Agency for Nature Conservation . In order to standardize plant
