The Garden of the Righteous Among the Nations

The List of Righteous Among the Nations from Bosnia and Herzegovina lists in alphabetical order those Bosnians who were honored by the Yad Vashem memorial with the title Righteous Among the Nations , which was given to non-Jewish individuals who were under National Socialist rule during World War II dedicated their lives to save Jews from murder, is forgiven. 47 Bosnians have so far been awarded the title Righteous Among the Nations . Especially among the states that emerged after the breakup of Yugoslavia, there is often disagreement about the national affiliation of the rescuers, which can result in deviations between different sources. For example, Josip Eberhardt & Rozika Eberhardt are listed in other sources as Croatians . The spelling of the names follows the list from Yad Vashem, which does not know certain letters common in the Serbo-Croatian languages, e.g. B. write “c” instead of “č”.
