Probably before 1100 The lost Spitzenberg Castle is located about one kilometer west of Kuchen on a mountain cone. Today there is still a trapezoidal castle square with enclosing ramparts and moats. The castle was destroyed in the Imperial War of 1311-1312 against Count Eberhard .

It is a former cotton mill with a workers' settlement which, in addition to houses, also includes a bathroom, a pharmacy, a library and a hall. The workers' quarter consists of 45 residential units, which contain a total of 250 workers. In the center of the quarter is the so-called Square , which served as a park. Arnold Staub , the founder of this workers' estate, wanted to build a bond between workers and his factory.
