Schachenmayr workers' settlement Bachstrasse 7–25, Bogenvisier 1–7, Haydnstrasse 1–9, Lisztstrasse 1–12 1935/36 The Schachenmayr workers' settlement is located on the north-western edge of Salach. They were built according to plans by the architect Hugo Schlösser under the direction of Conrad Bareiss. It is characterized by half-timbered architecture .

Schachenmayr outdoor pool Badstrasse 10 1933 The Schachenmayr outdoor swimming pool, built by the architect Hugo Schlösser , is located on the north-western edge of Salach. As the Schachenmayr company’s own outdoor swimming pool, it was also accessible to the population of Salach. For a long time it was considered one of the most modern baths in all of Württemberg. In 1974 it was sold to the Salach community. It is still considered to be one of the most important leisure facilities in Salach.

Worsted yarn spinning mill Schachenmayr, Mann & Cie Eduardstrasse 19./20. century The worsted yarn spinning mill Schachenmayr, Mann & Cie is located on the Fils , south of the core of Salach. It emerged from the tobacco and grapp factories. During its heyday, at the beginning of the 20th century, the Schachenmayer company had 1,000 employees.

Parish and school house from 1548 The Protestant parish church of St. Margareta with parish and school house is located on a slight hill in the center of Salach. The parish church is built in the Gothic style. In 1905 the parish church was changed.

Catholic parish church of St. Margareta Pfarrstrasse 16 1905 The Catholic parish church of St. Margareta, built by U. Pohlhammer, is located southeast of the historical center of Salach.
