  • The official list of cultural monuments is never closed. It is permanently changed through clarifications, new additions or deletions. A transfer of such changes to this list is not guaranteed at the moment.
  • The monument quality of an object does not depend on its entry in this or the official list. Objects that are not listed can also be monuments.
  • Basically, the property of a monument extends to the substance and appearance as a whole, including the interior. Deviating applies if only parts are expressly protected (e.g. the facade).

Detailed memorial texts

  1. Rehefeld Cemetery
    • Enclosure: Fence with fence posts made of sandstone and picket fence fields. Visual relationship: wide views of the valley and the opposite slope with the hunting lodge, exposed location of the facility. Grave complex: OdF graves for two resistance fighters who died in April 1945.
    • Cemetery: ground relief (terracing): hillside location, terracing for rows of graves through low embankments (seven long terraces), at the upper boundary a central plateau for the chapel with a higher embankment Access: access from the street, slightly curved ascending path from the entrance to the chapel, small square area on the plateau in front of the chapel.
  2. a b Rehefeld hunting lodge
    • Hunting lodge: two-storey wooden architecture, ground floor cross-boarded, upper storey and two storeys of the tower provided with rounded wooden shingles, six-paneled windows, original, hipped roof with slate covering, tower with a steep pyramid roof like that, Zippus on it, garage wing with original wooden gates, above a canopy, upper storey cross-boarded, Transition to the hunting lodge with loggia and original wooden doors, another two-storey house, cross-boarded, original windows with shutters, steep hipped roof with overhang, old German slate roofing, gabled side elevation, also with crooked hip, broken stone plinth, once the summer residence of King Albert.
    • History: The hunting lodge is the 1869 Christmas present from Crown Princess Carola of Saxony to her husband, Crown Prince Albert of Saxony. The chapel (demolished) was built in 1879 according to plans by an art institution in Munich. 1935–1937 construction of the garage wing (source: SLUB photo library, comparison of photos from 1935 and 1937).
    • War memorial: War memorial First World War, sandstone stele in the form of an iron cross with sword and inscription on the front side: "1914 1918 / THE DEAD / TO MEMORY / THE LIVING / TO HONOR / THE COMING / TO EMOTIONALS / THE COMMUNITY / REHEFELD and FENCE" Inscription on the reverse: "IN THE FIGHT FOR YOUR / EXPENSIVE FATHERLAND / FIND THE / HERO'S DEATH IN THE / WORLD WAR" (the names follow).
    • Gardens: ground relief (terracing): terrace of the former chapel, terrace of the hunting lodge, sun terrace in front of the guest house, terracing of the slope below the hunting lodge Access: from the upper road access road paved with granite stone paving, from the lower road access path leading up the hillside; Trees: Row of trees (linden, sycamore maple, ash, sycamore maple) near the road on the right-hand side of the driveway, remains of the proven oldest row of trees (historical photos) on the upper edge of the embankment at the driveway near the hunting lodge (3 sycamore maples), on the left side of the access path leading up Row of trees (chestnut, two sycamore maples, chestnut, two sycamore maples, two beeches (planted to the right and left of the path), row of trees along the upper edge of the slope of the lower terrace of the slope (seven chestnuts and two larches), solitary tree (beech) on the slope of the palace terrace, Row of trees (two chestnuts) on the chapel terrace, three sycamore maples on the upper edge of the slope of the sun terrace); Visual relationship: from the valley of the Wilden Weißeritz and the opposite slopes, building ensemble visible from afar, wide views of the place and into the valley of the Wild Weißeritz.
