  • The official list of cultural monuments is never closed. It is permanently changed through clarifications, new additions or deletions. A transfer of such changes to this list is not guaranteed at the moment.
  • The monument quality of an object does not depend on its entry in this or the official list. Objects that are not listed can also be monuments.
  • Basically, the property of a monument extends to the substance and appearance as a whole, including the interior. Deviating applies if only parts are expressly protected (e.g. the facade).

Detailed memorial texts

  1. The 26.3 km long narrow-gauge line (750 mm gauge) was completed in 1880–1882 to Schmiedeberg, and the following year to Kipsdorf. Changes to the route from 1908–1912 due to the construction of the Malter dam , multiple alterations until 1934, the main clients were industrial companies in Dippoldiswalde and the iron foundry in Schmiedeberg, the steepest sections of the Saxon narrow-gauge railways , railway bodies, station design and routing elements determined the technical development of all narrow-gauge railways in Saxony.
  2. a b Chapel: Chapel with ridge turret over the entrance gable, building by Lossow & Kühne . Plastered building, on the gable side a round arched profiled portal, with original door, gable roof, slate covering, roof turret with bell chair, tent roof slated.
    War memorial: artificial stone, semicircular relief with kneeling soldier, below inscription and iron cross , signed C. Bauch.
    Soldiers' graves: individual graves of 17 German soldiers from the Second World War (died in reserve hospitals), common grave for four German soldiers (shot on May 14, 1945 in Waldbärenburg, buried there and reburied in 1949). Grave complex: for six concentration camp prisoners.
