Haubarg Knutzenswarft: Haubarg
Haubarg Knutzenswarft, single-storey hipped roof building with recessed living area and cheekbones, basket-arched lootor, brick facade with reduced plaster structure and iron anchors, end of the 17th century, probably older in the core
First mentioned in 1370. Eight years after the great " Mandränke " the residents, the Wogemänner , who had made a name for themselves as "bad" fellows, were overwhelmed. The Wogemannsburg was razed and the stones were used to build the church. The Haubarg was rebuilt in 1654 and was also the pastorate until 1932 .
The lighthouse is a sea, cross-mark and guide light. The height of the fire is 41 meters, the height of the structure 40 meters. The range of the light is around 21 nautical miles (about 39 kilometers). The indirect visibility of the light beam is up to 55 kilometers. With a clear view he can still be seen on Heligoland
After a fire in the house in 1790, the house was connected to the Haubarg behind it to form one building. There is evidence that it has been inhabited since 1737.
