Two large gates on the gable end allowed the loaded harvest wagons to pass through. In the rear third of the barn, the floor consists of a smooth, tamped clay floor, on which the introduced grain was knocked out by hand with a flail.

794 Big street Bell tower The Wyker bell tower was completed on July 18, 1886. It is considered the landmark of the city of Wyk auf Föhr.
It was used to warn the residents of Wyk in earlier times when the bells were ringing in danger. It was built because the bells of St. Nicolai Church in Boldixum could only be heard in favorable wind conditions.
