The Protestant church was built in the 13th century. In the meantime the church has changed a lot. Inside an altar from the period 1480 to 1500. The granite baptism dates from 1728.
Acquired in the 1950s by the painter Hubert Meiforth (1913–1985), restored and equipped with a studio. Later expanded to include exhibition space, apartments and a café, location in the series Against the Wind ,
