Lutz Wilde

Lutz Wilde (* 1933 ) is a German art historian and monument conservator .

Live and act

Lutz Wilde studied art history , classical archeology and history at the University of Greifswald . From 1956 to 1960 he was Assistant Professor at the University of Greifswald and was established in 1959 with the work The development of the column forms in the medieval brick architecture of the Baltic region for Dr. phil. PhD . From 1960 to 1964 he was a research assistant at the University of Mainz . After that he was scientific advisor at the Office for Monument Preservation in Lübeck until 1987 and from 1987 to 1998 senior curator at the State Office for Monument Preservation Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel.

Lutz Wilde publishes on the subjects of art history, architecture and monument preservation, especially on the state of Schleswig-Holstein . From 1964 to 1987 he edited the monument preservation issue in Lübeck of the Office for Monument Preservation. Since the 2006 edition he has been the text author of the annual Schleswig-Holstein calendar .
