List of cultural assets in Abtwil AG

The list of cultural assets in Abtwil AG contains all objects in the municipality of Abtwil in the canton of Aargau that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the Ordinance of October 29, 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects of category A are not shown in the municipality, objects of category B are completely included in the list, objects of category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018).

Late baroque economic building, built around 1740 and meanwhile used as a mortuary. Plastered quarry stone masonry and hipped roof.

Built in 1748 by Arbogast and Hans Caspar Rey on behalf of the Einsiedeln monastery . Late baroque wooden post construction above the ground floor made of quarry stone masonry. Glued roofs between the floors and under the gables, a steep gable roof with a crooked hip.

Baroque Roman Catholic parish church, built 1740–1742 by Arbogast and Hans Caspar Rey. Three-bay nave with an own choir. Furnishings from the 19th century, predominantly in the classical style, ceiling and altar paintings by Joseph Balmer .
