List of Ministers for Mining and Energy of Brazil

The list of Ministers for Mining and Energy of Brazil includes all ministers of the Brazilian Ministry of Mining and Energy ( Portuguese: Ministério de Minas e Energia ). The official title is Ministro de Minas e Energia .

The ministry was founded in 1960 and the first minister, João Agripino , took office on February 2, 1961. Acting minister (as of May 2016) is Fernando Bezerra Coelho Filho . The ministry is based on the Eixo Monumental in the capital Brasília .
