The tree protrudes from a group of equally mighty oaks with less pronounced crowns. On the outskirts of the Niedernhägen farmers' community of Isernhagen, the tree is of outstanding importance for natural and local history, as it shapes the townscape here. In many areas of the Isernhägen farmers' groups, the oak groves assigned to the courtyards of the old Hagenhufendörfer have been lost due to settlement expansion. The tree, together with the other trees in its group, represents an essential part of the historical landscape and townscape.
