The Niedernhägener Bauerschaft (NB) is a district of the Isernhagen municipality in the Hanover region in Lower Saxony .

geography

The Niedernhägen farmers are located in the southwest of the Isernhagen municipality. NB is adjacent to the city of Langenhagen to the west, to the south of Hanover's district of Isernhagen-Süd , to the southeast to Altwarmbüchen , to the east to the Kircher peasantry and to the north to the Hohenhorster peasantry .

history

NB is a place that was laid out in the Middle Ages as an elongated Hagenhufendorf village. The designation as a peasantry is based on the economic form of Burschap (peasantry) that is common in Low German areas . The name of Niedernhägen farmers was first mentioned in 1442 in the registers of the Burgvogtei Celle . The "lower Hagen " was created on the Wietzen lowlands on the outgoing ridge, the name indicates the lower location of the village.

The southern district of Isernhagen NB-Süd was assigned to the city of Hanover as Isernhagen-Süd on March 1, 1974 by the Lower Saxony regional reform . The rest of the municipality became part of the new municipality of Warmbüchen. This was renamed Isernhagen on June 1, 1975 .

Buildings

There used to be four windmills on the Windmühlenberg of the Niedernhägen farmers - three post mills and a Dutch mill . Today only the Dutch mill is left, which is used as a residential building.

The registry office of the municipality of Isernhagen is housed in a charming half-timbered house, which gives the weddings carried out here a special atmosphere.

The Wöhler-Dusch-Hof is a two-column - Fachhallenhaus , which the "Nordhannoversche Bauernhaus Museum Isernhagen e. V. “houses. The Wietzepark leisure and local recreation area is of regional importance and a joint project of the Hanover region, the city of Langenhagen and the municipality of Isernhagen. The park includes the Hufeisensee, a bathing lake that is located in the area of the Hohenhorst farmers.
