List of parishes in City Deanery 17 (Archdiocese of Vienna)

The Stadtdekanat 17 is a dean's office in the Vicariate of Vienna city of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vienna .

It comprises four parishes in the 17th district of Vienna Hernals with around 21,500 Catholics. The chapel in the Leopold-Ungar house of the parish of the atonement church is located in the 16th district of Vienna, Ottakring .

Diocesan development process

On November 29, 2015, development areas were defined for all parishes in the Archdiocese of Vienna. The parishes should work more closely together in the development areas, form parish associations or pastoral care rooms. At the end of the process, new parishes should emerge from the development areas. The city dean's office 17 forms a development area.
