List of the series and series of the Eastern Railway in the Generalgouvernement
The Ostbahn , which was founded after the occupation of Poland and the establishment of the General Government, took over the existing vehicles of the Polish state railway Polskie Koleje Państwowe (PKP) , as did the Deutsche Reichsbahn, and assigned them to the German numbering system. In addition to earlier Prussian locomotives, which were already included in the DR number system, earlier Austrian series and locomotives procured by the PKP since 1919 were also included in the inventory of Ostbahn and DR.
