List of state awards from the Austrian Federal Ministry for Digitization and Business Location

The Austrian Federal Ministry for Digitization and Business Location organizes competitions for Austrian companies. Accordingly, state prizes are also awarded. The competitions are usually held over a period of one to two years, depending on the topic. The Federal Ministry for Digitization and Business Location awards a total of 13 state prizes, including the State Prize for Digitization since 2019 (2001 to 2017 State Prize Multimedia and e-Business or State Prize Digital Solutions ).

As the Federal Ministry for Science, Research and Economy , the authority organized competitions for Austrian companies in 15 different subject areas.

State Prize for Architecture This competition has been held every two years since 2000. He has changing focuses on tourism and leisure, industry and trade, as well as administration and trade. Either companies as builders or architects as planners can participate
State Prize for Best Training Companies - Fit for Future In this competition, which takes place every two years, the training companies have been assessed in three classes, depending on the size of the company, since 2008. State Prize Consulting This annual competition has been held since 2005, alternating between the categories of engineering consulting , management consulting and information technology .
State Prize for Design This prize has been awarded intermittently since 1968. The prize is currently awarded in three categories, namely (1.) spatial design and the two categories of product design for (2.) capital goods and (3.) consumer goods .
State award most family-friendly company This state prize, which has only been awarded every two years since 2010, is intended to honor companies whose family-friendly personnel policy should set an example. This award is not only given to companies with different numbers of employees (5–10, 11–50 and over 50 employees), but also to non-profit organizations and public institutions.
State Prize for Innovation The competition has been held annually since 1979 in two stages together with the federal states. That means, there is a national winner and a national winner. The competition is organized together with Austria Wirtschaftsservice .
State Prize KnewLEDGE The name KnewLEDGE is intended to represent a combination of Knowledge and new. The award, which has been given since 2004, recognizes companies with innovative concepts in company sizes (up to 100, 100–500 and over 500 employees) every two years.
State Marketing Award This prize has been awarded since 2001 for marketing strategies at home and abroad, but with a strong connection to Austria. It was first awarded in 2001.
State Prize for Multimedia and e-Business The prize, which has existed since 2001 and is awarded every two years, comprises a total of six categories divided into the two groups "Multimedia" (with the categories "Culture, entertainment and games", "Learning, news and communities", "Wellness, health and social services") ") and" e-business "(with the categories" e-government and public information services "," e-marketing and company presentation "," e-commerce and customer loyalty "). The prize can be awarded to individuals or companies across the EU.
State Prize for Public Relations This prize, awarded for special achievements in the field of public relations , has existed since 1984 and is awarded annually as part of the PR_Gala .
State Prize for Tourism Prizes are awarded for services in the tourist market development, whereby emphasis is also placed on sustainability and high social and ecological standards. Austrian tourism companies, regional and tourism associations and tourism-related service providers can take part. The biennial competition was held for the first time in 2003.
State award for company quality The annual award includes the categories of large companies , corporate divisions and subsidiaries with limited independence , SMEs , and non-profit organizations and has been taking place since 1996.
State Prize Exemplary Packaging This prize includes the categories of consumer packaging and transport packaging , with the various criteria such as practicality and design being assessed. From the ARA prize will be for the criteria resource conservation and waste prevention forgiven. The prize, which has been awarded since 1960, is awarded annually.
State Prize Advertising The prize, which is primarily aimed at the advertising industry, has been awarded for the three categories of campaigns, advertising film, and print / outdoor since 1972. The prize, which is awarded every two years, was awarded annually until 2000.
State Prize for Business Film The prizes are currently given to film producers every two years for films made in Austria that deal with economic issues such as company presentations or the like. The award has existed since 1987.

While the above prices are under the sole patronage of the ministry, the state award for environmental and energy technology , in which other ministries and organizations are participating , is still being awarded .
