List of stumbling blocks in Badenweiler
The list of stumbling blocks in Badenweiler contains all eight stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Badenweiler as part of the art project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Badenweiler. The stones were laid on July 22, 2008.

Emma Kübler born Schlotterer was born in Basel in 1885 . In Badenweiler she ran a butcher's shop with her husband. As a member of the Serious Bible Students , banned during the Nazi era , she was critical of Hitler's policies and refused to give the Hitler salute. She was arrested in 1936 and deported via Auschwitz to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, where she died of typhus in 1945 shortly after the camp was liberated . | |
