The list of stumbling blocks in Markkleeberg contains all the stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in the Saxon town of Markkleeberg as part of the art project of the same name .

Gunter Demnig laid Stolpersteine ​​for the first time in Markkleeberg in June 2010. The first two stumbling blocks were laid in memory of Olla and Ludwig Phillip Bamberger. The Markkleeberger Stolpersteine ​​commemorate former residents of the city who were captured, persecuted and mostly deported and murdered during the Nazi regime. So far, a total of nine stumbling blocks have been laid in five different locations in the city.

Remarks

1Gertrud Lubo was able to flee to Australia with her husband Piotr Luboszyz. She died there on June 4, 2017.
