Wettin House

The list of stumbling blocks in Radebeul contains all the stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in the Saxon town of Radebeul as part of the art project of the same name . The currently only stumbling blocks are in front of the Wettin-Haus , Moritzburger Strasse 1 in the Kötzschenbroda district .

Memories of the Freund family were documented by a neighbor, a classmate who was friends with their daughter Marion Freund, who was also friends with her after school, because the Freund parents did not want to send their child to the Jewish school in Dresden. In Radebeul there was no Jewish school because there were only a few Jewish fellow citizens, and neither was there a “ Jewish house ”, which is why the Freund family was allowed to stay in their apartment. Since there was also no “ medical doctor” in Radebeul, the Freunds were secretly treated at night by a general practitioner or dentist.
