from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of stumbling blocks in Leisnig contains all the stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Leisnig in the Central Saxony district as part of the art project of the same name .

background

These memorial stones are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Leisnig. The first 7 stumbling blocks were used at 2 addresses in November 2015.

The initiative, research and coordination are largely in the hands of voluntary members of the history group of the Treibhaus eV Döbeln as part of a funded project work. Every year, vigils and stumbling blocks are organized and information material is published. Since 2015 the Treibhaus eV has also been involved in laying stumbling blocks in the entire Altlandkreis Döbeln , i. H. not only in Döbeln , but also in Hartha , Leisnig, Roßwein and Waldheim .
