In 1634 a new church was consecrated in the cemetery. After the church was demolished (1867), the new church was built opposite the cemetery from 1867 to 1868 according to plans by Johann Meyer from Schwyz and consecrated in 1869 by the Bishop of Linz, Franz Joseph Rudigier .
