Shrine Object ID: 26124 |
Location KG: Nondorf |
The tabernacle column lay in front of house number 25 in Nondorf for an indefinite period of time. In 1954 it was set up again on the street in front of the house and a stonemason from Hoheneich created a new cross. At first it was assumed that it was a column of the Way of the Cross to Hoheneich from 1725, but the tabernacle column is likely to be older - the processing of the column indicates this. When it was about to sink in and fall over, in 2001 it was moved to a solid foundation about 10 meters further west. |
