The high altar is a work by Johann Walser from the year 1749. The altar sheet of a side altar was painted in 1747 by Martin Johann Schmidt. In 1904, Josef Rifesser created the neo-Gothic altars in the Barbara Chapel.

The Renaissance castle was started around 1590 with the participation of the architect Pietro Ferrabosco and completed in 1606. It stands on the foundations of the town castle built between 1201 and 1208 by order of Hadmar II von Kuenring . In 1758 a new castle chapel was built. The historicist castle theater was built in 1885 according to plans by Fellner & Helmer .
