The stately castle is a two-storey early baroque building with a seven-axis south facing side with pilasters. On the ground floor there is a mosaic floor from the time it was built. To the east of the castle there is a small chapel, built in 1778, with a Roman tombstone.

The stone-slab-covered, Baroque-style choir tower church is a Romanesque hall building with a Gothic cross-rib vaulted choir. The tower was raised in the 19th century and provided with an eight-sided Biedermeier pointed helmet. The altars date from the 17th century.

There is a painted sundial, marked 1529, on the granary with key notches . A chapel with mosaics by Max Spielmann was set up on the ground floor in 1965 .

The castle, which is now used as a school, dates back to a castle that was rebuilt in 1529. At that time the front side was in the west (portal, twin windows); During the baroque in the middle of the 18th century, the east side was redesigned to the front side. There are baroque stucco ceilings in two rooms on the ground floor.
