The small stone-plate-covered church with a Romanesque core has a Gothic west tower with loopholes, a Gothic choir with a 5/8 end and an open vestibule. The painted Gothic cafeteria is remarkable. The high altar dates from 1680, the side altars with foliage from 1720.

The Romanesque choir tower church with a short nave has a four-storey tower with light slits and Romanesque windows, a semicircular apse with Gothic windows and a Gothic west portal. Roman times relief and gravestones and - above the apse - a presumably medieval stone head are walled in. The baroque altars date from 1670 to 1700. The late baroque tabernacle with inlaid surface is remarkable.

The castle is a two-story building around an irregular inner courtyard. Dilapidated in the 18th century, it was rebuilt around 1850 based on an engraving by Valvasor from 1688, incorporating older buildings and the castle chapel, which was built in 1667 and contains a remarkable high altar.
