The core of the west wing with bay windows dates from the 16th century. In the 19th century the house was expanded and used as a yeast and alcohol factory. Acquired in 1973 by the city of Klagenfurt and used today as a kindergarten, structural extensions were made.

The church was built in 1977/78 by Alfons Nessmann and Ewald Kaplaner. The building on an irregular floor plan has an ascending, wide roof area and corner window formations in zigzag lines. The high altar was designed by Renate Hörtner.

Harbach Castle was a nobleman’s seat, first mentioned in 1213 and later converted into a castle. It was used as a monastery by the Good Shepherd Women's Order from the 1890s onwards, and the north and west-east tracts were added, and the church was added from 1914 to 1918. In 1962 the originally two-story building was extended. The 14-axis western face of the castle essentially has a facade from the first half of the 19th century. The Carinthian Diakonie has had its headquarters there since 2002 .

The hall construction in reinforced concrete skeleton construction with projecting asymmetrical structure on the front side was built by Franz Lukesch from 1956 to 1958. Karl Bauer created a glass painting in the baptistery and a large mosaic in the choir.

The small church with a Gothic choir and baroque nave has a slender vestibule tower with a pointed helmet. In the church there are two side altars from the 18th century; the high altar was replaced by a holy grave.
