The church is a late Gothic building; parts of the crypt and the south-facing marble portal come from the previous Romanesque building. The Gothic vaults are remarkable: star rib vaults in the main choir, net rib vaults in the side choir, four-diamond vaults in the northern tower chapel. The furnishings include the monumental high altar from 1658 with a statue of the Virgin Mary from 1460, the side altars from the middle of the 18th century, and two late Gothic panel paintings in the baptistery.

The late Romanesque Karner , consecrated in 1279, stands east of the parish church and is consecrated to Saints Catherine, Elisabeth and Magdalena . The two-storey rotunda is covered by a conical roof and has a Gothic portal from the 16th century with a wrought-iron grille from 1742. The apse, which barely protrudes from the building, rests on a stepped console that tapers downwards. The vaulted basement is still used for subsequent burial, the upper floor is used as a funeral hall.

The small church from the 12th century was rebuilt in the early 16th century. The wall paintings in the choir from the 12th century and a glass painting from around 1425 are significant. There are three baroque wall altars in the nave.

A portal marked with the year 1687 and a covered staircase leads to the parish church. A Madonna and Child and Saints Primus and Felicianus are depicted in three painted niches in the gable wall of the portal with its framed stone walls.

Two arched portals with shingle-covered gable roofs and with a niche in the gable wall each and with a baroque painting lead to the winter church. On the western portal from 1702 a Madonna, a dove of the Holy Spirit and Saints Nicholas and Valentine are depicted. The eastern one shows a Marian monogram and tendrils as well as a representation of the resurrection, a chronogram from 1705.

The Catholic branch church of Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus was built by Klemens Klinger in 1961/62. It is a hall-like building with a gable roof and a delicate roof turret, which has a narrow south aisle. The raised, apse-like chancel consists of natural stone masonry, which is broken through by high arched windows. There is a vestibule to the west and a neo-Gothic crucifix inside.

The late-Gothic pilgrimage church has a steep, wood-shingle-covered gable roof, a stone-plate-covered sacristy tower and a profiled late-Gothic entrance portal. The choir is vaulted with a star rib. The masonry singing gallery is on Tuscan columns and square vaults. The rich baroque high altar dates from around 1740.

The Drillingsburg from the 12th to 14th centuries was one of the largest early medieval castle complexes in the area of ​​the Wörthersee. The listed ruins of the main castle are located in an exposed location in the municipality of Maria Wörth. On the corner tower of the lower courtyard there is a wooden observation tower built around 1900. The St. Margarethen branch church is located on the foundations of the former castle chapel . On a hill 300 meters north of the main castle are the remains of a fortification. A bailey with a tower and a neck ditch is located 200 meters west of the main castle in the area of ​​the municipality of Keutschach.

In the middle of the remains of Reifnitz Castle , on the foundations of the former castle chapel, there is probably the small, high, late Gothic church with a Gothic portal, wooden roof turret and choir with a 5/8 end. In the diamond-shaped rib vault there is a keystone with a Keutschacher turnip. The wooden ceiling of the baroque vestibule is painted (17th century?). The furnishings include three altars from the 17th century.

The composer's house, built in 1900, is located on the property leased by Gustav Mahler above his lake villa. The simple building he called “Study” is one-room and covered with a gable roof. It was used by Mahler as the only composing facility until the death of his daughter Maria in 1907. It was sold the following year. Today there is a small museum dedicated to Gustav Mahler in the composer's house.

The subsidiary church of Saint Hubertus was built in 1975/76 by Werner Rapatz as a mausoleum for Helmut Horten . The church, built on a rectangular floor plan, is tent-like and has a sgraffito of the church patron by Thaddäus and Cornelius Kolig on the gable wall. Inside there is a hanging cross by Werner Lössl. The bell comes from the Karlsruhe bell foundry.
