The Kochkreuz is a baroque niche shrine that was built around 1764. The base is structured with painted columns on a terracotta-colored background. The niches framed by tendrils contain the following pictorial representations: 1. Crucifixion scene (with Mary, the mother of Jesus, Saint Mary Magdalene and Saint John), 2. Coronation of Mary, 3. Depiction of Saints Gregory and Florian and 4. Depiction of the Saints John the Baptist, Nicholas and Ulrich. The cornice is marbled blue, the tent roof is curved, covered with stone slabs and is crowned by a cross with a ball. The following inscription has been preserved on the east side: This cross was erected and painted by the honorable and humble Hanns Säbelnig in 1764 . A document, however, designates a Hanns Sabatnig, the Wiponig host, as the founder. The name of the inscription is likely to be a reading error during a renovation.
