KG: Schärding City 		Was previously called "Inntor" or "Zollturm" and was owned by the ducal-Bavarian state until 1570. Subsequently owned by the city and since 1819 private. On the city side, the gate ends with a straight wall surface on which a fresco commemorates the bombardment of the city by the Danish and Austrian troops in the War of the Spanish Succession in 1703. Numerous high water marks report on the flood disasters. The diagonally placed söller above the arch served as a pillory where convicts were put on display . : Schärding city 		The house used to be the residence of the ducal keeper of the castle. Until 1809 it could only be reached via a bridge over the then outer moat.
