The war memorial on the forecourt of the parish church, designed by the sculptor Franz Fuchs in 1926, consists of a group of figures of a soldier with a wife and child , and the plinth below lists the fallen St. George's from both world wars.

The current parish church is first mentioned in 1248, when it was a branch of the St. Pölten Abbey . In 1683 it was almost completely destroyed in the course of the Turkish siege of Vienna and only partially restored in the following years. It was not until 1749 that the church was heavily rebuilt. With the dissolution of the St. Pölten monastery in 1783, the branch was converted into a parish church and assigned to the new diocese of St. Pölten .

The Kaiser Jubilee Elementary School was built between 1907 and 1908 according to plans by the city architect Johann Zeiligers. The facade of the two-storey building is richly decorated with secessionist motifs. From 1960 to 1963, Paul Pfaffenbichler added another building to the west side of the existing building .

The late Gothic plague column stands in front of the elementary school on St. Georgener Hauptstrasse ( B20 ).
